Terbelit Hasrat
This work presents an abstract human form enveloped in contrasting colors. Black and gray dominate the silhouette, while a glowing red coil stretches across, symbolizing restraint, pressure, or desire that binds. A soft purple background heightens the dramatic contrast, evoking tension between gentleness and strength. The simple yet expressive organic shapes leave the painting open to multiple interpretations: a body constrained, a soul bound, or perhaps a symbol of resilience in facing inner impulses.

I am an artist originally from Depok, now residing in Sukoharjo, where I’ve found inspiration in exploring new artistic media. My work often reflects the emotional challenges of domestic life and interactions with those around me. Influenced by Indonesian maestros like Pak Hanafi and global icons like Jackson Pollock and Jean-Michel Basquiat, I strive to create pieces that resonate deeply and offer new perspectives on life’s complexities.
