Menopang Masalah
This work portrays a fragile human figure standing beneath a heavy burden, symbolized by a dense black mass supported by thin pillars. Red sparks mark inner wounds, pressures, and conflicts that continue to haunt. Though seemingly fragile, the pillars remain upright—a manifestation of humanity’s attempt to bear the weight of life’s struggles, even as body and soul often verge on collapse. It is a reflection on endurance, pain, and the struggle to remain standing under the weight of burdens.

I am an artist originally from Depok, now residing in Sukoharjo, where I’ve found inspiration in exploring new artistic media. My work often reflects the emotional challenges of domestic life and interactions with those around me. Influenced by Indonesian maestros like Pak Hanafi and global icons like Jackson Pollock and Jean-Michel Basquiat, I strive to create pieces that resonate deeply and offer new perspectives on life’s complexities.
