Di Antara Cahaya Dan Bayangan
This work presents a faceless female figure standing at the intersection of stairs and an open space. Her body is painted in contrasting colors—yellow, maroon, and orange—suggesting a tension between warmth and vulnerability. Beside her stands a large red sphere, like a sun or a symbol of burden, firmly accompanying her steps. The black stairs and white floor serve as metaphors for a path full of choices: to ascend into darkness or remain grounded in light. The figure is not merely standing, but bearing untold stories, struggles, and hopes.

I am an artist originally from Depok, now residing in Sukoharjo, where I’ve found inspiration in exploring new artistic media. My work often reflects the emotional challenges of domestic life and interactions with those around me. Influenced by Indonesian maestros like Pak Hanafi and global icons like Jackson Pollock and Jean-Michel Basquiat, I strive to create pieces that resonate deeply and offer new perspectives on life’s complexities.
