Shinta Oh Shinta
In the epic Ramayana, there is a moment where Jatayu desperately tries to rescue Sita, and of course, there is a fierce battle with Ravana. Jatayu is also an eyewitness to how Ravana abducted Sita. In this story, the "director" emphasizes the intense battle between them rather than waht Sita did, thought or felt under Ravana's control. Sita may have been quite chill, free from the suspicious and possessive love of her husband, Rama. Maybe Sita truly surrendered? Accepting whatever would happen to her after the battle between Jatayu and Ravana without dwelling too heavily on her fate. After all, Ravana also genuinely loved her. Perhaps Sita fully understood her beauty and conflicted like this might have been mundane. Living calmly and surrendering, that's Sita, perhaps?
