Waiting For Longing
This work is inspired by Chairil Anwar's poem "Sia-Sia" (1943), where there is a very famous sentence "Your death is torn apart by silence". Chairil's expression certainly has its meaning. This work was created in 2021 and was inspired by the conditions at that time (COVID-19 pandemic). At that time everyone was faced with uncertain situations. Limited interaction, prohibited from traveling, gathering, and only allowed to stay home. Like Chairil Anwar's poem "You're Dead, You're Torn Apart."
