Three Empty Seats

Two years ago, my family temporarily separated, each embarking on a personal quest, as if the world was too vast to navigate together. Yet, no matter how far our steps take us to different places, home remains an irreplaceable anchor. In this piece, the depicted place is a home—not merely a building, but a symbol of unbroken bonds. This home reflects a place that always waits, a place where every journey ends, where we return to feel peace and warmth. The painting conveys that growing up is not just about becoming independent but also about rediscovering and cherishing home as a destination—a final point in the journey that reminds us of the irreplaceable values that remain a part of us, even when we no longer share the same space together.
