Is There Anything More Honest Than Time?

Time is a natural entity connected to all living things. Life and time are two interrelated and inseparable elements, seemingly the best teachers for humanity. This work reflects an experience of memories tied to the feeling of loss—of moments and people in life. Memories influenced by emotions tend to linger longer, perpetuating the sense of loss. Time, then, seems to teach us about change—how what has passed can never return to reality, leaving memories as perhaps the only connection to the future.

In moments of deep emotion, life teaches us resilience, and time offers better answers than what came before, for time never lies to life, and life, in turn, is truthful to time. Everything beautiful has its moment, and then it passes. All that lies ahead is uncertain, shrouded in gray. Time will always reveal the answers and never betray them. The monochromatic black-and-white in this work symbolizes life, where other colors emerge from how we perceive and feel. Similarly, happiness within unhappiness always exists, depending on how we interpret it.
