The Meeting Point Of The Time Of Love
The creation of this artwork combines painting techniques with embroidery techniques directly, which have become an integral part of the concept. The form of the work presented illustrates the extinction process experienced by the rhinoceros hornbill, particularly during its breeding season. During this time, the male goes out to search for food, while the female stays in the nest to protect their offspring until they are fully ready to fly. If the male dies during this period, it is highly likely that the family will starve and die, accelerating the rhinoceros hornbill’s path to extinction. The visual novelty of the work is examined through experimentation with materials, techniques, forms, and aesthetics from both painting and embroidery, which will explore a wide range of visual art media.
