
The Outside
In this work, I was inspired by the visuals of peeling walls filled with overlapping layers of paper from old posters. To me, the visual form of these walls represents an intriguing abstract composition. I transferred this visual inspiration onto canvas as a medium, representing the walls in a very simple way within my artwork. In my opinion, simple and natural compositions are also a part of aesthetics, but it depends on how we package and position those forms for others to see. No matter how simple something may seem to some, it can hold immense value for those with a different perspective. We often view things from an external perspective without looking deeper into what lies beyond the inner part of the wall.
