The title of this painting was actually inspired by the work of Hendra Gunawan, which is also called “Pengantin Revolusi” (Revolution Bridegroom). This painting was inspired by the problems in life, especially the understanding of the marriage phase, where two people are intertwined. Such an understanding broadens the horizons regarding the revolution of the marriage process in Bali. These days, this has become a glamorous ceremony which costs a diamond.

My name’s I Gede Jaya Putra, and I’m called Dekde. I’m a Seminyak-based artist. I graduated from the Institute of Arts Indonesia (ISI), Denpasar.
