I’m an artist from Temanggung, a small town at the foot of Mount Sumbing in Central Java. Nature and rural life deeply shaped my early works, while the social and cultural life around me continues to inspire my art. Over time, my influences evolved from Basuki Abdullah’s realism to the expressive, abstract, surreal, and impressionist styles of artists like Van Gogh, Edvard Munch, Jean-Paul Riopelle, Salvador Dalí, and Edouard Cortes.
