Liberal ideals—human rights, free markets, democracy—no longer offer comprehensive solutions. AI threatens not only physical but cognitive jobs, raising questions about the relevance of roles like lawyers, teachers, and farmers in the next 30 years.

While many don’t grasp AI or biotech, the fear of job loss is palpable. The new rebellion may not target exploitative elites but those who render humans unnecessary. In this era, losing relevance through halted learning is more dangerous than past industrial exploitation. From an agricultural lens, AI accelerates farming cycles with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and modified seeds, straying from traditional, sustainable practices. This poses risks to food security and sustainability. Meanwhile, art’s role lies in creating experiences that challenge and reflect societal realities, rooted in the structure of the artwork itself.
