This artwork illustrates the effort and hard work undertaken by the figures of Klono. The numerous depictions of Klono do not represent their actual quantity but rather symbolize the magnitude of effort required to achieve or maintain success. The nine Klono figures, each with distinct gestures and positions, reflect various forms of hard work and perseverance, striving to be the best. One figure is shown enjoying the pinnacle of achievement at the highest point, while another faces failure, depicted by a broken rope at the lowest point. The remaining figures are tirelessly working to sustain their progress and reach new milestones. Set against the backdrop of a scorching desert under the blazing sun, the setting dramatizes the arduous efforts of the Klono Sewandono figures. This piece also serves as a metaphor for the wheel of life, which must keep turning to encounter future accomplishments, despite the obstacles and challenges symbolized by the harsh desert landscape and the relentless sun.
