Forest Of The Giant Tree
Inspired by the giant redwood trees of California— which can grow up to 113 meters, or about six times the height of the Statue of Liberty—this painting illustrates a forest of colossal trees. It reimagines the atmosphere of a towering woodland from the fantasy world I created in childhood, now rendered with a touch of realism.
In this work, I tell the story of a forest with massive trees inhabited by sorcerers and mystical beings. Many mythical creatures dwell there, and in this painting I highlight two of them: the Harpy and the Phoenix.
