In the canvas of shadows, I find the light.
A paradox, where darkness and beauty unite.
Despite the fear that creeps, I stand tall.
For in the shadow, the treasure of light stands tall.
As I explore its depths, I find delight.
In textures and forms, a world of light.
The stronger the shadow, the brighter the glow.
A treasure to be found, in the shadow's flow.
So I decide to give beauty to the shade.
To find pleasure in its different ways.
I'll not be scared, but instead, I'll roam.
Through the shadow's depths, where light takes home.
For in this paradox, I find my peace.
A harmony of light and darkness, released.
I'll not run away, but stand and explore.
The beauty of the shadow, forever more.

Alexa Genoyer Aguila
As an artist, I am inspired by beauty and harmony in Architecture and Nature, exploring colors. I love faces of the world. I take many pictures and sometimes one inspires me to take my brushes. I think my special pattern is the automatic writing, calligraphy, and the window representations. The use of collage in my paintings came over time. As I get bored easily, I like to explore different ways. But I’m consistent with acrylic even though I like painting on silk, working with my fingers with dry pastels also.
