LucyDream Art Champions Local Creativity at Tangi Street Art Festival 2025
LucyDream Art (LDA), a creative platform dedicated to uplifting Indonesian artisan communities, proudly sponsored the Tangi Street Art Festival 2025, an annual public art celebration held in Bali. With a shared commitment to the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—harmony among people, nature, and the divine—this collaboration reflects LDA’s mission to celebrate creativity as a force for cultural connection and community empowerment.
As an official sponsor of Tangi Street Art Festival 2025, LucyDream Art continues its mission to support emerging and established local street artists by offering them greater visibility and growth opportunities, both locally and internationally.
LDA’s sponsorship included financial support for the festival’s organization and a special exhibition featuring three standout artists from its platform:
- Putu Divayana – known for his surrealist exploration of human consciousness
- Yuda Bento – whose dynamic street-style reflects social themes
- Defina Sumardji – celebrated for her intricate, emotionally rich compositions
Each of these artists brought unique interpretations to the festival’s theme, enriching the cultural tapestry of the event.
One of the festival’s highlights was a mural by Ayu Muniarti, an LDA-affiliated artist, at KULIDAN Kitchen I Space. Her artwork boldly merges traditional Balinese values with modern aesthetics, illustrating a vivid narrative of unity, resilience, and environmental balance.
Her mural not only captivated festival-goers but also served as a powerful example of art as a cultural bridge, embodying LucyDream Art’s belief in the transformative potential of creative expression.
In addition to sponsoring the main event, LucyDream Art also supported grassroots engagement through its involvement in the BKCF (Blue Karma Children Foundation) x Tangi Workshop, a side program of the festival.
Ni Kadek Novi, another LDA artist, joined a collaborative, socially-themed art workshop aimed at empowering local youth and fostering creativity through education. This initiative exemplifies LDA’s commitment to nurturing inclusive spaces where art and community intersect.
LucyDream Art remains steadfast in its mission to amplify grassroots artistic voices and cultivate platforms where local talent can thrive. Through partnerships like the Tangi Street Art Festival, LDA hopes to reach broader audiences, inspire intercultural dialogue, and continue building a vibrant, inclusive creative ecosystem.
