Bayu Asmoro (b. 1992) is an artist from Mojokerto, East Java. He studied Fine Arts at ISI Yogyakarta, graduating in 2018, and later returned to his hometown, facing limited artistic opportunities compared to Yogyakarta’s vibrant art scene. Using these challenges as inspiration, Bayu explored found objects, drawing meaning from their stories and breathing life into inanimate things.
