Chocolate And Strawberry
Human life in this world is inseparable from its own blessings and trials. After marriage, the most cherished hope is often the presence of a child—an heir to carry on the next generation. This painting tells the story of a journey through life's struggles, portraying two young boys: one with a heart condition and the other suffering from pneumonia in his lungs. Chocolate and strawberries are their favorite treats, which are hard to keep away from them, despite the known risks and effects that may worsen their health. As parents, they are called to persevere and remain patient, striving for their children’s future while dreaming big and hoping their children become a source of joy and comfort for them and others. They liken this hope to a large, shady tree that provides life and shelter to the creatures around it. Parents often face difficult decisions to ensure the right steps are taken. Yet, there will always be those who criticize the decisions made. In the end, prayer becomes the primary and ultimate recourse. Through the help of an expert, it is hoped that a better life and a brighter future can be achieved for their children.
