The term "Paksi" refers to a bird in the Balinese language. In my artistic endeavor, I aim to capture the expressive movements of the sacred dance, Ida Ratu Paksi. This dance is performed with a strong emphasis on bird-like visuals. The piece portrays the remarkable agility, resoluteness, and grandeur of a Paksi queen, showcasing the boundless freedom and flexibility of movement reminiscent of a bird soaring effortlessly in any direction.
