In my artwork, much of it is inspired by my love for dogs. Since childhood, I have had a strong bond with dogs, which has become a central theme. My love for dogs is not only as a visual subject but also as a symbol of emotion and the relationship between humans and other living beings.

Yonathan Gilang
Yonathan Gilang, a Yogyakarta-born artist (1999), is known for his dog-inspired artworks reflecting his deep bond with them as symbols of emotion and human connection. After a brief hiatus due to burnout from vocational studies, he pursued Fine Art at ISI Yogyakarta, focusing on sculpture but eventually gravitated toward painting. He graduated in 2024, having explored various forms and expressions in art.
