Samira Rolloos is a part-time, half-Dutch, half-Indonesian artist based in Jakarta. Having lived between Trinidad and Tobago, Bangladesh, Australia, the Netherlands and Indonesia, her experience of navigating different cultures has shaped her artistic identity and distinctive use of colour.
With a background in International Business Management from The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Textile Design from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, Samira's work is rooted in colour and storytelling. Her paintings draw from personal experiences, observations and ideas, often exploring the contrasts and complexities of life.
