I am Refhaldi Ardiansyach, an emerging artist from Yogyakarta, influenced by Roby Dwi Antono's blend of fantasy and realism. My artistic journey emphasizes balance between quality and quantity, viewing art as a means of problem-solving through imagination. Currently, I explore themes of dreams and eschatology, drawing inspiration from figures like Joko Anwar. My dream project is an exhibition that fuses Renaissance and surrealism. While I have yet to collaborate with others or receive formal critiques, my work has been noted for its connection to pop culture. I primarily use acrylics on canvas and believe in the importance of audience interaction with my art. My creative process involves sketching ideas before translating them to canvas.

One artist who inspires me is Roby Dwi Antono, a painter who can depict the dream world through a mixture of fantasy and realism.
How do you define success as an artist?
Success is achieving a balance between quality and quantity.

I usually seek out references and develop them into my own art style.

What is the main inspiration behind your latest artwork?
I find inspiration for my artwork in Joko Anwar.

The themes I explore are Dream and Eschatology.
How would you describe your creative process? Is there a special technique or medium that you use?
I use acrylic paint on canvas because it has excellent color quality.
How do you overcome challenges in creating art?
First, I look at various references. Then, I create a sketch before diving into the canvas, selecting which elements to pursue. After that, I begin creating on the canvas while allowing for slight deviations from the original sketch.
