Sylvester Adhikrama, better known as Ramapenyu, was born and raised in Jakarta and studied fine arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, ISI Yogyakarta. Ramapenyu is a visual artist, graphic designer, and illustrator.

His creative process is inspired by Kustom Kulture and the lowbrow art movement. By merging visual elements from various scenes such as custom motorcycles, music, lifestyle, and parody, he creates fresh visual narratives in his work. Through his art, Ramapenyu strives to make art more accessible and relatable to its audience—easy to understand and digest—using familiar figures or forms and through media that can be used or consumed as products.
