Epitaph: Rhapsody In Nothingness
The visual fragments composed in this work, each standing on their own yet forming a cohesive whole, metaphorically represent love, empathy, desire, sentimentality, and other essential values intrinsic to human life. These values, however, are continuously eroded by the passage of time and the chaos of urban life, leaving behind an empty vessel devoid of its “human” essence. The term "Epitaph," chosen as the title of this work, symbolizes a marker for what remains after the "soul" within human life has died.
