Born in Yogyakarta in 1987, Irena’s artistic journey began at an early age, inspired by her father, a painter known for his beautiful batik and oil paintings. Growing up surrounded by art, she developed a strong appreciation for creativity and spent much of her childhood exploring drawing through pencil sketches and detailed illustrations.

Although art had always been part of her life, Irena expanded her artistic practice in 2019, exploring various mediums and techniques to further develop her creative voice. She finds joy in expressing emotions through her work, transforming personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into visual stories.
