I am Bahaudin and was born in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I draw inspiration from Indonesia's diverse social and cultural experiences. My artistic influences include David Hockney, Dulk 1, Takashi Murakami, and Yoshitomo Nara, with creative guidance from Pupuk DP, Nasirun, and Jumaldi Alfi. I define success as an artist by the ability to share knowledge and benefit others. Art has helped me develop a deeper perspective on life and self-reflection. I specialize in Pop Surrealism, constantly refining my skills and seeking inspiration from everyday life, spirituality, and personal experiences. My dream project is to create a multi-disciplinary space and art gallery, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Where are you from and how does that affect your work?
I’m from Sleman, Indonesia. I’ve gained many amazing experiences from the diverse socio-cultural relationships within Indonesia.
Who are your biggest artistic influences?
Artistically, my influences are David Hockney, Dulk 1, Takashi Murakami, and Yoshitomo Nara. In terms of artistic attitude, I look up to Pupuk DP, Nasirun, and Jumaldi Alfi.
How do you define success as an artist?
I define success as an artist by being able to provide useful knowledge and materials that benefit others.
How do you develop your art skills?
I develop my artistic skills by constantly honing my intuition, developing ideas and references, and learning from experience, especially in areas like art management.
Describe your dream project.
My dream project is to create a space in a studio area that serves as a quality cross-disciplinary meeting space, as well as an art gallery.
What is the main inspiration behind your latest artwork?
Spirituality, popular life, daily activities, and personal life experiences inspire my latest work.
Is there a specific theme or message that you want to convey through your artwork?
I want to convey the importance of self-awareness and learning to avoid repeating mistakes.
How would you describe your creative process? Is there a special technique or medium that you use?
I combine ideas and concepts, write them down, sketch them, and then paint using acrylic on canvas.
How do you overcome challenges in creating art?
I just give it my all and stay optimistic.
