Where are you from and how does that affect your work?
I come from Metro City, Lampung. Where I come from influences my work because I often address personal issues and their connection to the surrounding environment.
Who are your biggest artistic influences?
My biggest artistic influences come from the creative process, objects around me, and visuals on social media. Eko Nugroho is one of the artists who inspires my work.
How do you define success as an artist?
To me, a successful artist is one who can create works that are useful and beneficial for their family and the wider community.
How do you develop your art skills?
I keep progressing consistently and trying new things.
Describe your dream project.
My dream project would involve creating a work that combines many different disciplines.
What is the main inspiration behind your latest artwork?
In my previous works, I focused on personal issues from the past and their connection to the present. In my latest works, I explore current issues and their potential impact on the future.
Is there a specific theme or message that you want to convey through your artwork?
Many small elements in my work are interconnected. The message I want to convey is that, as living beings, we often overlook small things and focus only on the big picture, but those small things are also part of the bigger picture.
How would you describe your creative process? Is there a special technique or medium that you use?
I don’t have a specific technique or medium. I often use various media and techniques depending on the piece.
