About The Artist

Ade Habibie is a contemporary artist from Indonesia who is known as a multidisciplinary visual artist, painter, music composer, DJ, sculptor, and creative collaborator, known for blending art, fashion, and lifestyle into deeply personal works.

He studied painting and behavioral psychology at Valparaiso University (USA), and later honed his audio engineering skills at SAE Institute in Amsterdam.

Ade is well known for his vibrant spray-paint technique, merging figurative and abstract forms with collage and graffiti influences. His pieces often navigate the emotional journey of identity-depicting transitions like anxiety to calm, and confusion to self-acceptance.

About The Exhibition - on display at BK Creative Hub until 30th of August 2026

The Monkey Spirit - Affaires de Singe Series

Through chimpanzee figures, Ade Habibie reflects the political and social tensions of today's world. Their expressions and gestures mirror power, ambition, hierarchy, and the absurd conflicts that often shape society.

Wild, playful, and full of energy, the series explores human instinct and the constant struggle for dominance, while revealing the unease, uncertainty, and fragile hope that exist within complex systems.

More than criticism, Affaires de Singe is an invitation to look deeper: within chaos, awareness can still be found.
