LucyDream Art (LDA) hosted an art exhibition titled “A Palette of Cultures” at Jalan Umalas Klecung, Kerobokan, North Kuta, Bali, on Saturday, September 2, 2023. The exhibition at The Blue Karma Village Umalas showcased 26 paintings.

The purpose of organizing this exhibition was to focus on cultural themes to introduce and preserve various cultures. LDA felt that we might be starting to lose our own culture. Gradually, LDA wanted to bring it back, starting with showcasing it through paintings. LDA is an online platform that brings Indonesian artists to the international market. That would be the goal. Many of the paintings also highlighted Balinese culture. You would see that the exhibition featured artists from Bali and various regions in Indonesia, each with unique characteristics.

For this exhibition, LDA revealed that 13 artists collaborated with LDA. Regarding the painting genres, the styles were diverse. The main focus was that the artists highlighted cultural elements. The genres included pop art, abstract, surrealism, and more. Through the event, LDA hoped to provide greater exposure to the artists participating in this exhibition. And, of course, having the paintings sold today would be the highest form of appreciation.
